The Wade Smith FoundationTM is partnering with YWCA of Houston! Volunteers are needed to assist WSF and the YWCA of Houston in our relief efforts! The YWCA of Houston, along with our community partners are having a Harvey School Clothing and Supply Drive on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 12:00pm-3:00pm. Please drop off donations between now and September 8, 2017, between the hours of 9:00am-4:00pm at the YWCA of Houston located at 6309 Martin Luther King Blvd., Houston, Texas 77021.On September 9, 2017 we will need volunteers from 9:00am-4:00pm at the YWCA of Houston located at 6309 Martin Luther King Blvd., Houston, Texas 77021.
The following donations are needed for school supplies and clothing for grades in elementary to high school:
Composition notebooks • college composition notebooks • college ruled spiral notebooks • binders (2 inch) • dividers • folders • graph paper • notebook paper (wide and college rule) • notebooks • scientific calculators • compasses • protractors • colored pencils • map pencils • red checking pencils • pencil sharpeners • pencil bags • markers • crayons • highlighters • pens • erasers • scissors (blunt) • glue sticks • construction paper • Kleenex • backpacks • organizer boxes • hand sanitizer • school uniforms (gently used or new) • regular clothing for school aged children • children’s underwear • socks
Volunteers are needed to sort through the donations and pass out supplies September 5-September 9, 2017.
